Ceremony: $650

  • I help you customise a short ceremony by writing a personalised wedding, performed at my private venue

  • Book a time to come and view the venue, sit down and get a consultation with me and go over all the detail you would like for your Ceremony

  • I will then send you an invoice to pay a small deposit which secures your chosen date and time

  • Venue booking time is 1.5hrs (including guests turning up, ceremony and photos after)

  • I will write a personalised ceremony till you are happy (including prayers, blessings, encouraging you to bring your own personal vows/commitments to each other, sharing a little story and more)

  • Apply for your marriage licence here - you also are no longer required to turn up in person at the office or sign a declaration. It is all done online (this is another $150 to BDM which is also paid online)

  • As you fill in the Online Form, choose “Personalised Wedding”

  • Select my name as your celebrant - TANIA MAINDONALD JEFFS

  • On the day, you will need to show me photo ID so I can confirm that the legal names are those mentioned on the licence

  • Bring 2 witnesses, and a translator (sign language or your native language) if required

  • Pay my Celebrant & Venue Hire fee of $650 PLUS a $50 Refundable Bond. Or is *$750 if on a Public Holiday PLUS $50 Refundable Bond.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Can I use Zoom live feed so my family and friends can watch our ceremony from around NZ and overseas?

A. Yes, this is no problem at all. I do not have a tripod but can possibly attach a phone on my background lighting rig or get one of your guests to hold a device for you.

Q. What is the maximum amount of people can we have at your private venue?

A. For fire hazard & safety requirements, I am only allowed a maximum of 17 people (14 seated), wedding couple and myself at the front. Any extras unfortunately will not have a seat or be able to see so may have to wait outside.

Q. Can I still have a walk in wedding song or wedding music of my choice?

A. Yes, am happy to do this for you and can have that playing on my bluetooth speaker and Spotify playlist if you provide for me

Q. Can we bring food or alcohol (champagne etc) to your venue?

A. No, this is not permitted and is not a commercial premises. After getting married at my venue in West Auckland, try a few of these recommended and ideal places below.

**Conditions: Please be aware, you agree to book this venue under the condition that there is no food or alcohol to be onsite. It is a private residence and have neighbours. The venue is only used for the purpose of the ceremony. The $500 fee does not include the Marriage Licence, which is paid for separately via online application with Births Deaths and Marriages. $50 Refundable Bond additional.
